Thanks CC! That's a great tip. Unfortunately I didn't make it up that way on my travels the other day. This weekend was a classic case of over planning on my behalf, and I didn't get to everywhere I'd planned. Dover and Salisbury are on my relatively-short list, though, so I'm glad I didn't go all the way and miss something important!

Thanks again for the tip! These things really make a big difference.

hello.

i'm using an iBook and i can't seem to access your email address, so i'll leave this in comments.

A. your site is amazing.
B. you should check out two malls in Delaware and Maryland: The Blue Hen Mall in Dover, Delaware and The Salisbury Mall in Salisbury, Maryland.

The Blue Hen Mall is now called a business center but I would venture to say that 90% of its late-70s-mid-80s decorations remain intact. It also had a gigantic Woolworths which closed in the early 90s but remains in its original condition.

Also, the Salisbury Mall, as far as I recall, is in its orginal condition, and even more vintage than the Blue Hen Mall.

Anyway, hope that helps.
